Third Amended General Order 20-03

 

Background:

Third Amended General Order No. 20-03, effective October 13, 2020, outlines all the changes and requirements for hearings during the COVID-19 emergency. All calls will be heard using Zoom for Government or AT&T Teleconference.

The notice of motion should always be filed with the motion.  If you omit it from the motion PDF , file it separately, using this event.

During the filing process you will be prompted to;

DO NOT refile the motion. Relating the Notice of Motion to the original motion entry is sufficient.

Note: If you already filed a Notice of Motion and are changing some information on the notice, do NOT use this event. Select the Amended Notice of Motion/Hearing event.

 

Step-by-Step Procedures:

  1. Select [Bankruptcy orAdversary>Notices]

  2. Enter case number and click Next

  3. Select 2-Notice of Motion from event pick list and click Next

  1. Select Party from party pick list you represent and clickNext

    The Attorney/Party Association screen may display.  If it does, click here.

The PDF Document selection screen will display.

  1. Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate document/file

  2. View file to verify the correct file is being selected

  3. Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window and click Next

  1. Insert hearing date, time and select hearing location

    Select Appear Using Zoom for Government or Appear by Telephone using AT and T, based

    on the Judge’s website.

  2. Click Next

  3. A list of entries will display.

    • Click box next to related motion
    • Click Next

    Selection of an entry is mandatory.  

    If you do not relate to an existing entry, a message will display.

  4. Click Next

The Final Text screen will display.

  1. Verify the accuracy of the docket text

  2. Click Next to complete filing process


The Notice of Electronic Filing will display.  It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.  You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
