Motion to Continue/Reschedule Hearing

Step-by-Step Procedures:

 

 

  1. Select Bankruptcy or Adversary from the main menu

  2. Select Motions/Applications or Motions

  3. Enter case number

  4. Click Next

  5. Select Continue/Reschedule Hearing from the event pick list

  6. Click Next

  7. Select Party you represent from party pick list or Add/create new party if your party does not appear in the pick list.

  8. Click Next

    The Attorney/Party Association screen may display.  If it does, click here.

  1. Click Next

The PDF Document selection page will display.  You must now upload the document you are filing.

  1. Click Browse button and navigate to locate appropriate document/file

  2. View file to verify the correct file is being selected

  3. Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window

  4. Click Next

The next page will display all docket entries that are related to hearings.

  1. Click the box in from of the docket entry your motion is related to

  2. Enter hearing information

  3. Click Next

The Modify Text page will display.  If applicable, you may make a selection from one or both of the prefix boxes.

  1. Click Next

The Final Text page will display.  This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

  1. Verify the accuracy of the docket text

  2. Click Next to complete filing process

The Notice of Electronic Filing will display.  It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.  You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
