Background:
This event should be used when a filer needs to correct information on a previously filed Transfer of Claim., Form B2100A or other pdf.
No fee is assessed and no updates to the claim will occur. The Clerk's office staff will review and update the Claim Register and send notice, if needed.
Step by Step Procedures
Access Claim Register to verify claim number.

Select [Bankruptcy>Claims Actions]

Enter case number and click Next

Select Amended Transfer of Claim from event pick list and click Next

Select Party (your company) from party pick list or Add/create new party to add your company

Click Next

The followingwarning will display.
WARNING: This event is ONLY to be used to correct a clerical error on the PDF. It will NOT transfer a claim or assess a fee.
Click Next

The Claims Option Menu will display
- Select the appropriate radio button
- Click Next

If you receive a Stop Message, back up and select the correct radio button
If not, go to step 9

The PDF Document selection screen will display. The document being filed must be uploaded to CM/ECF at this point.

Click Browse, View and Attach

Click Next

Follow the instructions below based upon your selection in step 7
Claim Filed on Court Register

Enter Claim Number in text box
- Click Next
The Claims Selection Screen will display
You can sort the listing by creditor name and claim #
- Select the correct claim number from list by highlighting the claim number (the Claim number will appear in the box)

Click Next
The Event Screen will display
- Select the Transfer of Claim event that is being Amended
- Click Next
A text box will display. Type in the information being amended
(For example, Transferor, dollar amount, etc)
- Click Next
- Click Next again
Claim Listed on Schedules, No Claim Filed (Chapter 11 only) or Claims Noticing Agent
The Claim Number and Event Screen will display
Select Transfer of claim being amended
Enter Claim Number, if known
Click Next
A text box will display. Type in the information being amended
(For example, Transferor, dollar amount, etc)
- Click Next

A blank page will display
Click Next

TheFinal Text page will display. This
is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.
If Claim Filed on Court Register is chosen in Step 7:
Amended Transfer of Claim 2 to correct claim amount Filed by (attorney's name) on behalf of (name of creditor) (RE: [45] Transfer of Claim). (attorney's name)
If Claim listed on Schedules or Claims/Noticing Agent is chosen in Step 7:
Amended Transfer of Claim 2 to correct Transferor Filed by (attorney's name) on behalf of (name of creditor) (RE: [45] Transfer of Claim). (attorney's name)

Verify the accuracy of the docket text
If corrections are needed use Back button to navigate back to previous screen and make correction or click Bankruptcy to abort filing and start over.
If entry is correct, go to step 14

Click Next to complete filing process
The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
