You will be prompted to pay the required filing fee after your filing has been completed.

 

Effective September 30, 2013

In order to comply with District Court Local Rule 3.1, E-filers should include a Civil Cover Sheet as an attachment to any Notice of Appeal, Notice of Appeal, and Motion for Leave to Appeal, or Withdrawal of Reference.  The Civil Cover Sheet can be obtained from the District Court website.

 

Step-by-Step Procedures:

  1. Select [Bankruptcy or Adversary> Appeal]

  2. Enter Case Number and click Next

  3. Select Notice of Appeal with Motion for Leave to Appeal from event pick list and click Next

  4. Select party you represent from party pick list or Add/Create New Party

  5. Click Next

    The Attorney/Party Association screen may display.  If it does, click here.

  6. Click Next

  7. Click Next

  8. The PDF Document selection screen will display.

  9. Click Next

    The next page requires you to relate your Notice of Appeal to an existing order and displays the required filing fee.

  10. Click Refer to existing event(s) box

  11. Click Next

  12. The Category Screen will display.

    • Select the Category to which your event relates
    • Completion of the Filed and Documents fields is optional.   Completing of these fields will display specific entries on the next page.
  13. Click Next

  14. Click box next to the order being appealed

  15. Click Next

  16. A blank screen will display.  

    Click Next

  17. The Final Text screen will display.  

    This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

    Verify the accuracy of the docket text.  If not correct/if correct

  18. Click Next to complete filing process

 

Electronic Payment

You have two options:

Select one of the two options and close the window when done.

 

The Notice of Electronic Filing will display.  It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.  You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed
